Leah Somers

Leah Somers is a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant, Wellness Cooking Instructor, highly experienced Meal Planner, Reiki Practitioner, NLP Practitioner and NGH Certified Hypnotherapist. She is board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. When working with clients, Leah applies all her professional trainings and experiences to develop alternative interventions that complement conventional medicine, using cutting edge nutritional science, energy medicine, supplemental and homeopathic support. Leah views diseases as imbalances in the physical, emotional, spiritual, or environmental domains of a person’s life. By finding and addressing the root causes of illnesses helps people gain energy, eat cleaner, make empowered food and lifestyle choices to feel better in their bodies. Her goal is to creatively help clients integrate simple, healthy habits that will last a lifetime without feeling deprived. She has interned alongside Dr. Mincolla for the past three years, honing her skills in holistic healing, energy medicine and kinesiology.

Leah has extensive knowledge in Lyme, tick-borne illness, PANS/PANDAS, mold toxicity, and chronic disease. She has treated hundreds of people of all ages suffering from these illnesses. She has designed thousands of meal plans for patients with chronic conditions. She not only develops personalized nutrition guides, but she thoughtfully helps her clients follow-through with the plans, attending to any personal or practical obstacles that may surface.

Leah integrates Western and Eastern philosophies of natural healing to provide the most appropriate information as she guides individuals toward achieving wellness. As her background includes applied nutritional therapies, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Ericsonian, Traditional and Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy, Jikiden and western lineage of Reiki, Energy Medicine Kinesiology, Grace-Hands on Healing and over a decade of extensive research, study, and practice into the field of holistic health, she is able to incorporate mind-body techniques to support her clients in their eating and lifestyle habits.

Outside of her work, Leah enjoys volunteering at The Magical Moon Farm, a foundation for children challenged with cancer or other life changing illnesses. She holds regular nutrition and cooking classes for families at The Magical Moon farm.
